Day 01. Yogyakarta To Malang / Lumajang

• Your East Java adventure starts at 7:00 AM with a pickup from your Yogyakarta hotel. Buckle up for a 8-hour journey via highway through Solo and Malang.
• Enjoy the scenery and landscapes during rest and lunch stops at convenient rest areas.
• The day ends with your arrival in the charming Malang area. Check into your hotel and relax after the journey. Explore the local town, relax.

Day 2: Tumpak Sewu Waterfall Tour & Relaxing Near Mount Bromo.

Get ready for an amazing day on Day 2! We’ll start early at 7:00 AM, embarking on a journey to discover the incredible Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.

Panorama View Point Tumpak Sewu Waterfall:

Our first stop is the Panorama Point, offering a stunning 180-degree view of the magnificent waterfall.

If you can make it before 07:30 AM, you’ll get the best weather – cool and clear, with a chance to see the majestic Mount Semeru, the highest volcano in Java, as a majestic backdrop.

Descending to the Falls:

• From the Panorama Point, we’ll head down for about 30-45 minutes to reach the base of the waterfall.
• The path can get a bit slippery, so we’ll be careful to navigate a smaller waterfall along the way.
• Hold on to the ropes for safety, wear proper shoes, and follow your guide’s instructions for a safe and enjoyable descent.

A Moment of Wonder:

• Reaching the bottom of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is truly awe-inspiring. You’ll get to see its sheer size and power firsthand.
• Our guide will lead you to the perfect photo spots to capture unforgettable memories.
• You can even take a refreshing dip or swim in a designated area at the base of the falls.

Tupak Sewu to Hotel near Bromo:

• Once we’ve had our fill of Tumpak Sewu, we’ll head back to our homestay to freshen up and get ready for the next part of our trip.
• We’ll then embark on a scenic 5-hour drive to our comfortable accommodation near Mount Bromo, where we’ll rest and prepare for tomorrow’s exploration of the iconic volcano.

Cemorolawang village is in a great spot, right near Mount Bromo. It’s the perfect base for exploring both Bromo and Ijen Crater during your tour.

Day 3: Watching Bromo’s Sunrise & Journey to Ijen Crater (Hotel in Banyuwangi)

• Get ready for an amazing adventure on Day 3! We’ll leave early at 3:00 AM, from your hotel/homestay, and go on a fun 4WD jeep ride to Kingkong Hill or Penanjakan, the sunrise viewpoint.
• The scenic journey will take about 45 – 60 minutes, depends on the traffic jam.

A Breathtaking Panorama Awaits:

• As you reach the sunrise point, get ready to be blown away by a truly breathtaking spectacle.
• You’ll have an hour to soak in the majestic panorama before you: Mount Bromo, Batok Crater, the towering peak of Mount Semeru, and the charming village of Cemoro Lawang nestled amidst the landscape.
• This is a photographer’s paradise, so don’t miss out on capturing these unforgettable moments!

Exploring the Bromo Sea of Sand:

• After watching the sunrise, we’ll hop back into the jeep and continue our adventure to the Sea of Sand in the Mount Bromo area.
• We’ll park the jeep, and you can explore this fascinating volcanic terrain on foot or by horseback (optional).
• Choose between a horseback ride or a walk to reach the foot of Mount Bromo, where stairs lead you up the slopes.

Time to relax and refuel:

• We’ll be back at your hotel by around 8:00 AM for breakfast, a shower and to pack up. Then we’ll head off on a scenic 5-6 hour drive to our accommodation near Ijen Crater.
• This route offers stunning rural landscapes, charming towns, rice paddies, plantations and even glimpses of beaches.
• We’ll stop at a local restaurant for lunch along the way, so you’ll be ready for the next part of your trip.

Reaching Your Ijen Crater Base:

• By late afternoon or early evening, we’ll arrive at your hotel in the Bondowoso or Banyuwangi Banyuwangi area, conveniently located near Ijen Crater. Get settled in and enjoy a relaxing evening before tomorrow’s exciting Ijen Blue Fire trek.

DAY 4 – MOUNT IJEN BLUE FIRE TOUR TO BALI FERRY PORT

• Pick up from hotel to Paltuding (Ijen basement trek)

Explore Mount Ijen Blue Fire

• The Midnight Ijen Blue Fire Adventure (00:00 AM – Bondowoso Town / 00:30 AM – Sempol Village)
• Please be advised that this is an unforgettable pre-dawn adventure. Depending on your accommodation location (Bondowoso Town or Sempol Village), your departure time will be either midnight or 00:00 AM.

Gearing Up and Starting the Ascent

• Our journey begins at the Paltuding parking area (Mount Ijen Parking Lot), where you will have time to prepare your hiking gear before setting off on the trek.

Moderate Hike with Diverse Terrain (1.5 – 2 Hours)

• The hike to the Blue Fire point takes approximately 2 hours and requires moderate physical fitness. The path can be divided into three sections:
  • Section 1: A relatively easy and gradual climb for the first kilometre.
  • Section 2: A steeper ascent leading to the volcano’s peak.
  • Section 3: A final descent to the Blue Fire point, which is a narrow, rocky, and slippery path. Please follow your guide’s instructions carefully for safety reasons.
• Please note that the Ijen Blue Fire Phenomenon is visible for approximately 20-35 minutes, it depend on the wind blows for making the sulfuric gas goes to another site so you can view tha blue fire.
• Upon reaching the Blue Fire point, you will have approximately 20-35 minutes to observe the otherworldly beauty of the electric blue flames. Please be aware that due to the active volcano’s potential for gas emissions, we must limit our time here.
• Sunrise Over Ijen Crater: A Breathtaking Spectacle (5:30 AM – 7:00 AM)
• As dawn approaches, you will have the opportunity to witness a breathtaking spectacle as the sun rises from the east, casting a magical light on the Ijen Crater and its surrounding landscape. You will be able to enjoy this panoramic view until around 7:00 AM.

Descent and Return to Base Camp

• Once the sunrise has been captured, we will begin our descent back to the Paltuding parking area.
• From there, you will return to your accommodation for a well-deserved breakfast and some time to freshen up.
• We will then proceed to Ketapang Ferry Port for about 1.5 hour, and cross the Bali strait for about 1 hour. Tour services is finish.

We suggest you take a train or flight from Yogyakarta to Surabaya or Malang, and we’ll pick you up at the Surabaya or Malang train station or at the airport. So the tour will be Surabaya/Malang Tumpak Sewu Waterfall Bromo Ijen Ketapang Ferry Port, East Java, to Gilimanuk Ferry Port, Bali Island 4 Days.

If you want to start the tour from Yogyakarta, the pick-up time should be in the morning.
